Melinda K. Mains New Vice President of Compliance and General Counsel

Christian Church Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Melinda K. Mains, J.D., M.S.W., as Vice President of Compliance and General Counsel. Mains brings a rich background combining more than ten years of legal experience and decades of leadership in communications and marketing.

Mains earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She also earned her M.S.W from the University of Georgia and B.S.S.W from Texas Christian University.

Mains has a deep understanding and love of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); prior to law school she led Communication Ministries for the Office of General Minister and President. Mains has served as a consultant for General Ministries, Regions, and congregations in communications and governance. She has also served on boards and committees throughout the denomination.

Her expertise will enhance our ability to serve our donors, partners, and the entire Church with the best possible care.”

Mains will begin her new position April 20 and will be based in Indianapolis.
